Yosef AlZayadni's Body Found Amid Ceasefire Talks

The Israeli military has recovered the body of Yosef AlZayadni, a 53-year-old hostage, in a tunnel in southern Gaza amid ongoing ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas. The military is investigating whether another set of remains found nearby belongs to his son, Hamzah AlZayadni. The discovery comes as tensions rise, with Israel reporting that about one-third of the 100 remaining hostages have died, although up to half may be deceased. Yosef and Hamzah were part of a group of 250 hostages taken after a Hamas-led attack in October 2023 that killed 1,200 people.
