Jenna Ellis to Cooperate in Arizona Election Probe

Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis has agreed to cooperate with Arizona prosecutors in exchange for dropping nine felony charges related to her involvement in the 'fake electors' scheme to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. This cooperation could provide critical evidence against other co-defendants, including Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows. Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes emphasized the importance of Ellis' insights in pursuing justice and preventing the undermining of democracy. Ellis had previously pleaded guilty in a similar case in Georgia, where she also agreed to cooperate with authorities. This development marks a significant step forward in the broader investigation into efforts to subvert the 2020 election. Several other defendants, including 11 Republicans who falsely declared Trump the winner in Arizona, continue to face charges in the case.
