Fatal Crash Sparks Immigration Policy Debate

Fernando Jimenez-Jimenez, a Mexican national, was involved in a fatal wrong-way crash on December 12 near Las Vegas, killing off-duty police officer Colton Pulsipher. Jimenez, who had been deported twice in 2019, was under deportation orders again after failing to attend a 2021 immigration hearing.
