Nepal Aims for 28,500 MW Electricity by 2035

In the UK, concerns were raised about the rapid rollout of new energy infrastructure, emphasizing the need for community benefits to ensure fair compensation to local residents affected by projects like solar farms. Meanwhile, Nepal is pursuing an ambitious 'Energy Development Roadmap' aiming to produce 28,500 MW of electricity by 2035 to support its development goals, highlighting the importance of investment in energy generation. The roadmap also seeks to reform policies and attract investments to facilitate this energy transition, which is crucial for economic growth.
