Major Drug Busts Across the United States

Several significant drug busts have occurred across the United States, demonstrating the ongoing battle against drug trafficking. In Oklahoma, deputies seized 47.5 pounds of uncut cocaine during a traffic stop, potentially saving lives by preventing the cocaine from being cut with fentanyl. In Texas, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found nearly 300 pounds of cocaine worth over $4 million in a tractor-trailer at the Hidalgo Port of Entry. In Michigan, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office made its largest cocaine bust ever by seizing over 370 pounds worth $16.5 million from a semi-truck near the Blue Water Bridge. At the Calexico West Port of Entry in California, CBP agents intercepted 122 pounds of blue fentanyl pills valued at approximately $11 million as part of efforts under Operation Apollo to combat synthetic narcotics.
