Nineteen Arrested in San Antonio Gang Raid

A coordinated raid by Texas law enforcement and federal agencies, including the FBI and Homeland Security, led to the arrest of nineteen individuals, including multiple members of the Tren de Aragua gang, at a San Antonio apartment complex. The operation, part of SAPD's 'Operation Aurora', was initiated after complaints of narcotics, human trafficking, and threats were received from the Palatia Apartments. Four of those arrested were confirmed as gang members, including an 'enforcer', and fifteen face immigration detainers. The gang, known for its violent activities, had been operating in the area for several months. Law enforcement officials, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, emphasized their commitment to eradicating the gang's presence in Texas.
