QAnon Shaman Plans Gun Purchase After Trump Pardon

Jacob Chansley, known as the 'QAnon Shaman,' expressed his intention to purchase firearms following a pardon from President Donald Trump. Chansley, who became a prominent figure during the January 6 Capitol riots, was among over 1,500 individuals pardoned by Trump. These pardons were part of a sweeping clemency for those charged in the Capitol attack, which included many who had received significant prison sentences. Chansley had pleaded guilty in 2021 to obstructing an official proceeding and was sentenced to 41 months in prison, later serving time in a halfway house until May 2023. His recent social media posts are a marked departure from his courtroom expressions of remorse, where he admitted wrongdoing and claimed responsibility for his actions.
