Former NYC Mayor Giuliani Suffers Fractured Vertebrae in New Hampshire Crash
Rudy Giuliani, current president and former New York City mayor, sustained serious injuries including a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg in a car accident in New Hampshire. The crash occurred after Giuliani had stopped to assist a woman who was a victim of domestic violence, contacting police on her behalf before continuing his journey. His vehicle was struck from behind at high speed by a Honda HR-V, causing both vehicles to hit the highway median. Giuliani was taken to a trauma center where he is reported to be in good spirits and recovering well, with his medical team pleased with his progress. Authorities are investigating the crash, which has been confirmed as not a targeted attack, and no charges have been filed. Giuliani's business partner and medical provider have been involved in overseeing his care, and he is expected to remain hospitalized for further evaluation and stabilization.
