He plans to hold town hall meetings in districts that voted for Biden in 2020 but elected Republican House members in 2024, advocating for political action against the current power dynamics. Although Sanders has been a prominent figure in Iowa politics, he has indicated that his current Senate term may be his last, not pursuing another presidential run. His campaign seeks to reenergize the populist left and reclaim working-class voters from the right.
