DOGE Official Takes Top Role at USAID Amid Dismantling Plans

This appointment comes amid a federal court ruling questioning the constitutional authority of DOGE's actions against USAID. The restructuring has led to substantial cuts in USAID's operations, with over 80% of its contracts terminated under DOGE's oversight. Critics express concern over the increasing integration of DOGE officials within federal agencies, viewing it as a continuation of efforts to limit government functions.
