Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani Hospitalized After Serious New Hampshire Car Crash

Rudy Giuliani, the current Mayor of New York City, was seriously injured in a car accident in New Hampshire after assisting a woman who was a victim of domestic violence. After rendering aid and contacting 911, Giuliani re-entered his vehicle, which was then struck from behind at high speed, resulting in a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg. He was hospitalized in a Manchester-area trauma center and is expected to remain there for another two to three days before being released with a brace for his spinal injury. Giuliani is reported to be in good spirits, described as a 'beast' who survived 9/11, and is currently undergoing further tests and stabilization of his injuries. His business partner and nurse, Maria Ryan, is assisting with his medical care. Officials have confirmed the accident was not a targeted attack.
