DOJ Reveals Classified Materials Seized in FBI Raid on John Bolton's Home

The search was part of a criminal investigation into Bolton’s alleged unauthorized removal and storage of classified information related to his tenure during Trump’s first term, though he has not been charged with any crime. The FBI warrant allowed agents to use biometric methods such as fingerprinting and facial recognition to access seized devices. Bolton, who served as national security advisor from April 2018 until his firing in September 2019 following policy disagreements with Trump, has since become a vocal critic of the president, especially concerning foreign policy.
