Poll Reveals Biden's Lead Over Trump, Impact of Conviction

The poll, conducted between 15-20 September, also suggests that more Americans would blame Biden and Democrats for a government shutdown in the current budget battle than would blame Republicans. Moreover, 54% of the respondents believe Biden is too old to serve as president, while 50% think the same about Trump. Also, 74% of the Americans believe that Biden's policies have led to inflation, with only 30% approving of his handling of the economy. Despite these national figures, Biden still leads Trump by 12 points in a hypothetical matchup in the swing state of New Hampshire.
