Israeli Embassy Staff Killed in D.C. Shooting

Elias Rodriguez, a 30- or 31-year-old from Chicago, allegedly shot and killed two Israeli Embassy staff members, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., as they were leaving a diplomatic event. The victims, a couple about to get engaged, were targeted at close range. Rodriguez reportedly shouted 'Free, free Palestine' during and after the attack, and investigators are examining a manifesto that may indicate political motives related to the Israel-Hamas conflict.
