Kamala Harris Campaign Raises Over $633 Million

Kamala Harris' campaign, along with affiliated Democratic groups, raised approximately $633 million in the third quarter, surpassing a total of $1 billion for the election cycle and significantly outpacing Republican candidate Donald Trump. In September alone, the Harris campaign raised about $222 million, contributing to a total of over $359 million for the Democratic National Committee and state parties. However, the campaign spent heavily, investing $270 million in a comprehensive advertising blitz targeting various media platforms. As of October, Harris' campaign had $346 million in cash reserves compared to Trump's $283 million. Notably, 95% of the donations to Harris were under $200, with 6 million donors contributing more than 13.1 million times, including 4.3 million first-time donors. Star-studded events in California, including one raising $28 million, significantly bolstered her fundraising efforts.
