Significant U.S. Attorneys Resignations Announced

Several U.S. Attorneys across the country have announced their resignations. Zachary Myers of the Southern District of Indiana, known for prosecuting cases involving drug trafficking and cybercrime, will also resign, with Jonathan Childress acting as his successor. Kate E. Brubacher, the first female U.S. Attorney for the District of Kansas, will leave her post after working on cases against drug cartels and white-collar criminals. Alamdar S. Hamdani from the Southern District of Texas, who led over 10,000 criminal cases, plans to resign with a noted high conviction rate. These resignations reflect a significant turnover in the U.S. Attorney offices under President Biden's administration.
