On Wednesday evening, a toddler managed to slip through the White House's north fence, prompting a swift response from the Secret Service. The incident, occurring around 6:30 p.m., saw officers quickly reuniting the child with his parents without any incident. The White House fences, upgraded to 13 feet tall, have gaps of 5 1/2 inches, making it possible for small children to squeeze through.
