Nathan Wade Served Subpoena, Evades Deposition

Former Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade has finally been served a congressional subpoena after nearly a week of evading service. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) issued the subpoena as part of an investigation into District Attorney Fani Willis's prosecution of former President Donald Trump, which has been labeled 'politically motivated' by Republicans. Wade's evasion led the committee to enlist the help of the U.S. Marshals Service to locate him. Despite confirming receipt of the subpoena on the day of the deposition, Wade did not appear, prompting further delays. Wade resigned from the Trump case earlier this year due to a romantic relationship with Willis, which has raised ethical concerns. The committee plans to reschedule Wade's deposition to discuss these matters.
