Texas Land Offered for Deportation Facilities

Tom Homan, appointed as border czar under President-elect Donald Trump, has accepted an offer from Texas officials to utilize 1,400 acres of land in Starr County for the construction of deportation facilities. This move, praised by Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, aims to facilitate what is described as the 'largest deportation of violent criminals in the nation's history.' Homan revealed that he is actively drafting plans for the facilities, which will serve as temporary housing for migrants awaiting deportation. He commended Texas Governor Greg Abbott for his stringent border security measures and stated that the land's availability will expedite the deportation process. The proposed facilities underscore Trump's commitment to aggressive immigration enforcement, which he intends to initiate immediately upon taking office.
