Georgia School Shooting Kills 4, Injures 9
A tragic shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, resulted in the deaths of two students, Christian Angulo and Mason Schermerhorn, both 14, and two teachers, Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53. The shooter, 14-year-old Colt Gray, who had a history of fascination with previous school shooters, was arrested and will be tried as an adult. Nine other people were injured in the attack, which occurred on the first day of classes after the summer break. Authorities discovered that Gray had previously been investigated for making online threats. Gray's family members suggested he had been struggling with mental health issues and had sought help. The community is now dealing with the aftermath and grieving the loss of the victims.
