Israel Intensifies Airstrikes on Houthis in Yemen

Israel launched large-scale airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen’s Hodeidah port and the Bajil cement factory after a Houthi missile attack near Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport injured several people. The Israeli military stated the targets were key supply and economic sites for the Houthis, used for Iranian weapons imports and military infrastructure. Houthi sources reported casualties ranging from two dead and over 20 to more than 40 injured, with extensive damage in Hodeidah and nearby areas. Some Houthi and regional media claimed the strikes were a joint US-Israeli operation, but US officials denied direct participation, acknowledging only ongoing US operations elsewhere in Yemen.
