Trump Proposes Economic Plans in Tucson

Former President Donald Trump held his first campaign rally in Tucson since the recent presidential debate, where he claimed victory over Kamala Harris and reiterated his intention to cut regulations to address inflation and housing costs. Trump asserted that there are 21 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. and proposed the largest deportation initiative to free up housing. He also mentioned that overtime and Social Security should not be taxed, predicting that reducing energy costs and regulations would quickly decrease inflation and interest rates. Throughout his remarks, Trump made unfounded claims regarding late-term abortion and criticized the debate moderators for correcting him during the debate. His rally featured support from Senate candidate Kari Lake and Arizona Republican Party Chair Gina Swoboda.
