A recent Napolitan News Service poll reveals that 28% of Democrats and 27% of Democrat-leaning voters believe the U.S. would be better off if former President Donald Trump had been assassinated. The poll, conducted by Scott Rasmussen's RMG Research, found that only 48% of Democrats definitively rejected the idea of Trump’s assassination as beneficial. Trump survived a second assassination attempt in Palm Beach, FL, and has accused Vice President Kamala Harris of using inflammatory rhetoric that encourages violence against him. The poll also indicates that 45% of respondents think anti-Trump rhetoric played a role in the assassination attempts, and 41% blame the media. Additionally, 37% of respondents consider it likely that U.S. government agencies were involved in the murder plot.
