Report: Biden Administration Targets Christian Colleges

A report by the American Principles Project (APP) reveals that nearly 70% of enforcement actions by the Biden administration's Department of Education targeted faith-based and career-focused schools, despite these institutions representing less than 10% of the student population. Among the hardest hit were Grand Canyon University and Liberty University, which faced unprecedented financial penalties exceeding all fines imposed over the past seven years combined. APP's policy director, Jon Schweppe, criticized the administration for using the Department of Education as a tool to punish Christian colleges that oppose its agenda while protecting elite institutions. The report argues that this pattern of targeting has been egregious and calls for immediate cessation. The findings suggest a broader strategy of weaponizing federal agencies against perceived ideological opponents, raising concerns about the implications for religious and vocational education. The Department of Education has not publicly responded to these allegations as of yet.
