Ukraine Seeks NATO Invitation Before Biden's Term Ends

Ukraine's Ambassador to NATO, Nataliia Galibarenko, has called for a NATO membership invitation to be extended to Ukraine before President Joe Biden's term ends, viewing it as a significant political gesture that could serve as part of Biden's legacy. This move is seen as crucial amid the ongoing war with Russia, where Moscow has used Ukraine's NATO aspirations to justify its aggression. In parallel, Latvia's Parliamentary Secretary emphasized the need for EU support to Ukraine, calling for swift mobilization of military and financial aid under the European Peace Facility.
