Trump Seeks Supreme Court Block on Teacher Grants

These grants, such as those from the Teacher Quality Partnership Program, are aimed at addressing teacher shortages in underserved areas. The administration argues that lower court rulings disrupt Executive Branch authority over funding decisions. The Justice Department warned that failure to overturn these rulings could result in a significant financial obligation that cannot be recovered if the administration ultimately prevails. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson has set a deadline for states to respond to the administration's request.
