South Carolina is hosting the first Democratic primary of the 2024 election, serving as a key test for the party's presidential candidates, including President Joe Biden who is expected to win with a large margin against two little-known candidates. The primary is also seen as an opportunity for potential 2028 presidential contenders, like Vice-President Kamala Harris and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, to increase their visibility.
