Trump Burger Owner Faces Deportation Proceedings in Texas
Roland Beainy, a Lebanese national and founder of the Texas-based Trump Burger chain, is facing deportation after overstaying his visa and being accused of immigration fraud, including entering into a sham marriage to avoid deportation. Despite his strong political support for President Donald Trump and his pro-Trump themed restaurants, Beainy is not receiving any special treatment amid the administration’s intensified immigration enforcement. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Beainy in May 2025, and although he was released on bond pending a hearing, his immigration petition was revoked by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services due to evidence suggesting the marriage was fraudulent. Authorities also cited Beainy’s alleged criminal history, including an assault charge and multiple sham marriages. Beainy denies most of the allegations, claiming the majority of accusations are untrue, but his legal situation remains precarious as the Trump administration continues its crackdown on illegal immigration. The Trump Burger chain, which features MAGA-themed décor and menu items, has grown to multiple locations in Texas but is unaffiliated with the Trump Organization, which has issued a cease-and-desist over the use of the Trump name.
