Beyond Fest Announces 90-Film Lineup With Multiple Premieres, Del Toro Retrospective

Beyond Fest 2025, Los Angeles' premier genre film festival, will run from September 23 to October 8, showcasing a robust lineup of 90 films with eight world premieres, five North American premieres, and nine U.S. premieres. The festival will open with Park Chan-wook's 'No Other Choice' and close with Yorgos Lanthimos' 'Bugonia,' featuring a blend of arthouse and grindhouse films. Major premieres include Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut 'Good Fortune,' Bryan Fuller’s 'Dust Bunny,' Scott Derrickson’s 'Black Phone 2,' and Luca Guadagnino’s 'After The Hunt.' The event will also highlight international films from directors like Jafar Panahi, Kleber Mendonça Filho, and Radu Jude, alongside cult favorites and restorations. Beyond Fest will host in-person appearances from renowned filmmakers and actors such as Guillermo del Toro, Al Pacino, John Carpenter, and Tim Robbins, with events including Q&As and retrospectives. The festival emphasizes diversity in genre filmmaking and aims to connect film communities with a wide array of innovative storytellers.
