Elon Musk's Austin Family Compound Developments

Elon Musk has purchased a $35 million compound in Austin, Texas, with the intent of housing his 11 children and some of their mothers, creating a 'family compound' to facilitate quality time and bonding among them. The property consists of a 14,400-square-foot Tuscan villa and a six-bedroom mansion, with Musk maintaining a nearby residence for himself. While one of the mothers, Shivon Zilis, has moved in, his other partners, Justine Musk and Claire Boucher (Grimes), have not, partly due to ongoing custody battles. Musk, who often expresses concern over declining global birth rates, reportedly offered significantly above market value for the properties and required nondisclosure agreements from sellers. His plan reflects his broader pronatalist ambitions and desire for his children to grow up together.
