Three Arrested for Battery During Ocala No Kings Protest
Three individuals were arrested during the "No Kings" protest in downtown Ocala, with charges related to battery for pushing or hitting other demonstrators. Stephen Libardoni and Michael Loren, both counter-protestors, were accused of pushing protestors, with Loren also charged with possession of brass knuckles as a convicted felon. Alexandra Krolman, a protestor, was charged with battery after allegedly hitting someone with her cardboard sign. Despite these arrests, the demonstration, which attracted around 1,000 participants and was part of a nationwide movement, was largely peaceful with no serious injuries reported. The Ocala Police Department maintained a presence to ensure safety during the event. These arrests underscore the continuing tensions at political demonstrations across the United States.
