Zelenskyy Calls for Long-Range Weapons Support

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has intensified calls for Western allies to permit the use of long-range weapons for deep strikes inside Russian territory. Following meetings with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof and U.S. officials, Zelenskyy stressed the necessity of such capabilities to counter ongoing Russian airstrikes on Ukrainian infrastructure and civilians. The Netherlands committed to providing €200 million in support, including air defense equipment and F-16 jets. Meanwhile, the situation around the eastern city of Pokrovsk remains dire, with Russian forces making significant advances. Zelenskyy aims to present a comprehensive victory plan to President Biden and other international leaders soon.
