Charlie Woods, son of golfing legend Tiger Woods, and Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, are set to compete in the prestigious Junior Invitational at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, South Carolina, from March 19-22. This invitation-only tournament will feature 36 boys and 24 girls, showcasing top junior talent. Notably, Woods is currently ranked 713th and Trump 2,342nd in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, making them standout names but not top contenders in terms of rankings. The event will also include several top-ranked players, including Asterisk Talley, the reigning champion in the girls' division. A tournament spokesman indicated that the entry list is not yet finalized, which explains the inclusion of 37 boys, despite the usual cap of 36. Both participants are coming off notable experiences, with Woods recently competing in the PNC Championship alongside his father.
