FBI to Release Epstein Jail Footage, Files

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced the upcoming release of both original and enhanced surveillance footage from Jeffrey Epstein's cell area at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, aiming to address conspiracy theories about Epstein's 2019 death. The footage, which does not capture the moment of suicide, will reportedly show Epstein was alone and that no one else entered or exited the area at the relevant time. Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel reiterated that all available evidence, including video, DNA, fingerprints, and tips, supports the official ruling of suicide by hanging, with no indication of foul play or accomplices. The FBI is also planning to release unclassified files from previous leadership to further increase transparency. Officials encourage anyone with credible new evidence to come forward.
