Dallas Baptist church on fire

A significant fire erupted at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Dallas on Friday, injuring at least one firefighter and leaving the church's pastor, P.D. Taylor, to evacuate the building alone after he noticed smoke. Around 50 firefighters responded to the 2-alarm fire, which primarily damaged the church's office areas but spared the sanctuary. Pastor Taylor expressed gratitude for the minimal damage and reassured congregants that they would hold their services elsewhere. This incident marks the second major fire at a Dallas-area Baptist church within a week, following a fire at the First Baptist Church in downtown Dallas. The cause of the fire at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church remains under investigation.
