His attorney confirmed the delivery of these items, which he claims hold significant sentimental value, asserting that Giuliani is being forced to relinquish them unjustly. Giuliani's spokesperson, Ted Goodman, described the court's actions as a 'bastardization of our justice system,' highlighting Giuliani's past heroism during the September 11 attacks. The court had previously mandated the turnover of additional assets after Giuliani failed to meet an earlier deadline. This legal battle stems from Giuliani's false claims about the election workers' involvement in voter fraud during the 2020 election, which led to severe harassment against them. Giuliani has indicated he views the judgment as a political vendetta and is pursuing an appeal.
