The lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of New York, claims "flagrant misappropriation" of the song, which was used during videos showing Trump boarding a plane for campaign events. The band, known for their strong opposition to Trump's policies, seeks damages and attorney's fees, emphasizing that they did not authorize the song's use. This case adds to a growing list of musicians who have criticized Trump's campaign for using their music without permission, including Celine Dion and the estate of Isaac Hayes. Jack White remarked on social media, "This machine sues fascists," reinforcing their stance against Trump's actions. The Trump campaign has not yet responded to the lawsuit.
