Prince Andrew Hosted Epstein, Maxwell, Weinstein
BBC reporting confirmed that Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Harvey Weinstein visited Prince Andrew at his Royal Lodge ahead of Princess Beatrice’s 2006 masked 18th-birthday ball, with photographs matched to the lodge gardens. The visit occurred two months after a U.S. arrest warrant was issued for Epstein and days before his subsequent arrest; Epstein later died in custody, Maxwell is serving a lengthy prison term, and Weinstein has been convicted and jailed. The disclosure has renewed scrutiny of Andrew’s judgment and long-standing ties to Epstein — he withdrew from public duties in 2019, later settled a civil claim with Virginia Giuffre (which he denies), and reportedly continues to live at the 30-room Royal Lodge rent-free; reports also say Epstein and Maxwell were known guests at other royal properties including Balmoral. Separately, newly unearthed emails and reporting show Sarah, Duchess of York, accepted loans and longer-term financial support from Epstein, including a reported £15,000 loan, and described him in flattering terms, triggering the loss of some charity patronages. A posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre also contains an unverified claim that Ghislaine Maxwell boasted about performing a sex act on George Clooney, a claim whose veracity remains uncertain.
