Apple Tops Q1 2025 Smartphone Sales with iPhone 16e

Xiaomi maintained its third position with a 14% market share, aided by its expansion into electric vehicles in China. Global smartphone shipments grew by 3%, but economic uncertainties, particularly US tariffs, could dampen future growth. Analysts warn that tariff-related uncertainties might lead consumers to defer smartphone purchases, potentially disrupting the supply chain.
