Mass Protests Mobilize Globally Against Israel Gaza Actions

A wave of protests has erupted in Lebanon against the Nawaf Salam government's decision to impose an arms ban on Hezbollah, viewed by many as complying with American-Israeli demands and violating Lebanon's national defense doctrine. Hezbollah and the Amal Movement have condemned the decision, with Hezbollah vowing to disregard the ban and Amal demanding a course correction. Meanwhile, Hamas has issued urgent calls for global mobilization to protest Israel's military actions and blockade in Gaza, highlighting the humanitarian crisis including starvation-related deaths. Hamas urged mass protests outside Israeli, American, and allied embassies worldwide and criticized international silence over the ongoing violence. Supporting these efforts, a coalition of civil society organizations from 50 countries launched the "For You" campaign to raise awareness and demand an end to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, emphasizing the suffering of Palestinian women and children. Hamas representatives also warned against Israel's plans for a full Gaza occupation, accusing Israeli leadership of escalating war crimes and blocking peace efforts, while calling for increased humanitarian aid and international intervention.
