Texas Man Arrested for Mar-a-Lago Trespass Attempt

Anthony Thomas Reyes, a 23-year-old from Texas, was arrested early Tuesday after scaling the wall at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida with the stated intention of 'spreading the gospel' to Trump and marrying his 18-year-old granddaughter, Kai Madison Trump, who was not present at the property and is currently on holiday. This was Reyes's second breach attempt, following a prior warning for trespassing around New Year's Eve. Neither Donald Trump nor his family were at Mar-a-Lago during the incident. Secret Service agents detained Reyes without incident after he triggered perimeter alarms. Reyes has been charged with occupied trespassing, pleaded not guilty, and is being held on a $50,000 bond with an order to have no contact with the Trump family. Authorities are considering federal charges in light of repeated breaches at the highly secured property.
