Yella Beezy's Bond Reduced in Mo3 Murder Case
Dallas rapper Yella Beezy, legally known as Markies Conway, has been released on a reduced bail of $750,000, down from the initial $2 million, in connection with a murder-for-hire charge. He is accused of orchestrating the murder of fellow rapper Mo3, real name Melvin Noble, by allegedly hiring Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the act. The murder took place in November 2020, with White pursuing and shooting Noble on Interstate 35E in Dallas. The bond reduction came after a hearing where Beezy's financial inability to pay the initial amount was discussed, and conditions including no contact with witnesses and wearing an ankle monitor were imposed. Beezy's legal team maintains his innocence, while prosecutors cite his resources as a potential flight risk. White has already been convicted of related firearm charges and is serving a prison sentence.
