Basketball Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2025 Candidates

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame has released its list of eligible candidates for the Class of 2025, featuring high-profile first-time nominees like Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Marc Gasol, and WNBA stars Sue Bird and Maya Moore. This year’s eligibility change, reducing the waiting period from three to two seasons out of the game, aims to honor distinguished careers more timely. Other notable candidates include coaches Doc Rivers, Billy Donovan, and Gonzaga's Mark Few, who boasts an impressive record with the Bulldogs. Finalists will be announced during the NBA All-Star Weekend on February 14, with the full class unveiled at the NCAA Final Four on April 5, before enshrinement events in September.
