Denmark Delivers Second Batch of F-16s to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the arrival of a second batch of F-16 fighter jets from Denmark, enhancing Ukraine's air defense capabilities against Russian attacks. Zelenskyy praised Denmark's leadership in supporting Ukraine, stating that the F-16s are already intercepting Russian missiles and protecting civilian lives and infrastructure. The initial delivery occurred on August 4, and Denmark's commitment includes a total of 19 aircraft. Zelenskyy emphasized that if all partners were as decisive as Denmark, Russian aggression could have been significantly curtailed. Recent reports confirm that the F-16s have successfully destroyed multiple Russian cruise missiles targeting Ukraine. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen previously announced plans for additional deliveries, reflecting ongoing military support for Ukraine.
