The ambassador responded by appointing a Commerce Department official to assist, despite limited direct support possible for a Ukrainian company. This has reignited discussions about Hunter Biden potentially leveraging his father's vice-presidential position for business advantages, with criticism from Republicans citing possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
