Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard have both been announced as inductees into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Anthony will be honored twice, as both an individual and as a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic 'Redeem Team', reflecting his significant contributions to both the NBA and international basketball. Dwight Howard, celebrated for his defensive prowess and pivotal role in leading the Orlando Magic to the 2009 NBA Finals, will be inducted as a first-ballot Hall of Famer. His accolades include three Defensive Player of the Year awards and an NBA championship with the Lakers in 2020. The induction ceremony is set to occur in September 2025 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Also joining them is Billy Donovan, renowned for his success as a coach at the University of Florida and currently with the Chicago Bulls.
