SNAP Payments Expected to Increase in February 2025

In New York, an alarming rise in SNAP benefit theft via EBT skimming has prompted calls for legislative action, with over 118,000 reported incidents and efforts underway to enhance card security. Additionally, a proposed $100 increase in SNAP benefits in February 2025 aims to address nutritional deficiencies among low-income families. In Texas, new SNAP payments will also be available beginning in February 2025, supporting residents in purchasing healthy foods.
