Russia Deploys Upgraded Drones and Nuclear Missiles

Kyiv was hit by a combined drone and missile attack early Saturday, resulting in multiple explosions and emergency response operations in the Svyatoshynskyi district. Russia has escalated its military posture, deploying air-to-air nuclear missiles and stationing tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus, according to a US Defense Intelligence Agency report. The R-37M missile is being adapted to carry miniaturized nuclear warheads, enhancing Russia's long-range strike capabilities. At the same time, Russian Shahed-136 drones have been upgraded with advanced warheads integrating cumulative, fragmentation, high-explosive, and incendiary effects, utilizing both Russian and Iranian technology. These developments reflect a significant modernization of Russia's offensive arsenal as the conflict with Ukraine continues. Ukrainian air defenses face increasing challenges due to evolving Russian tactics and weaponry.
