Both Iran and Hezbollah have downplayed the significance of Donald Trump's election victory, asserting that it will not alter their strategies or policies in the Middle East. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the outcome makes 'no difference' to Iran, emphasizing a focus on strengthening relations with neighboring Islamic countries. Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem echoed this sentiment, declaring US elections 'insignificant' and vowing to continue military operations against Israel regardless of who is in power. He warned that Israel's ambitions extend beyond Gaza and Lebanon, aiming to reshape the Middle East, and asserted that Hezbollah is prepared to confront these challenges. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, however, expressed optimism about US support under Trump's leadership for Palestinian aspirations. Meanwhile, Hamas criticized the US for its 'blind support' of Israel, calling for an end to this policy.
