Delta to Launch Atlanta–Riyadh Nonstop Oct 2026
Delta Air Lines will launch nonstop Atlanta–Riyadh service beginning October 2026, operating three weekly flights on Airbus A350-900 aircraft and becoming the first U.S. carrier to serve Riyadh nonstop. The over-7,000-mile route will offer Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort+ and Main Cabin and is among the airline’s longest scheduled sectors. The route is part of a codeshare partnership with Riyadh Air and aligns with Saudi Arabia’s tourism expansion under Vision 2030 — Riyadh and other destinations saw roughly 30 million international visitors in 2024. Delta CEO Ed Bastian described the launch as a strategic step to deepen business and tourism ties while cautioning demand may “start slow.” The Riyadh service is part of a broader Delta network buildout that includes new long-haul and leisure services such as Marrakech, Porto, Sardinia and Malta and aims to bolster U.S.–Saudi connectivity.
